Dr. Tiffany Aronson, a South Florida native, is passionate about helping children with autism and their families. Dr. Aronson has spent the past several years providing individual, family, and group therapy to children with a range of developmental disabilities and medical conditions. While working with her client’s and their families, she has utilized techniques including behavior modification and parent management training. She has widespread experience conducting comprehensive developmental, psychological, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological assessments across a variety of settings. Dr. Aronson earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Indiana University and a doctorate in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University. She completed her predoctoral internship at Miami Children’s Hospital and postdoctoral fellowship at the prestigious Emory University School of Medicine at the Marcus Autism Center in the Pediatric Neurodevelopmental Center. Dr. Aronson is thrilled at the chance to use her extensive knowledge and clinical education to give back to her community at the Slomin Family Center. Janyce Becker, Director Community Relations
Janyce Becker brings to the Slomin Family Center more than 30 years of experience in community outreach, political insight and special events coordination. Janyce has managed campaigns for local, county and congressional candidates in both Broward and Palm Beach County. She was the Executive Director of the Deerfield Beach Chamber of Commerce for over 13 years initiating one of the most successful Leadership programs in the State of Florida. Her vast experience as a special events coordinator will assist the Slomin Family Center in reaching its financial goals, and her years of educating the public on special issues and her expertise in crafting appropriate public relations messages will enable her to raise awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorders in the community. Ryan Joseph, Psy.D., Associate Director of Clinical Services
Dr. Ryan Joseph grew up in South Florida and is excited about the opportunity to give back to the community in which she was raised. Her dedication to improving the lives of others has led her to a specialization in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and their families. She has extensive experience conducting developmental, psychoeducational, neuropsychological, and psychological evaluations. In addition, she has provided consultative services to school personnel and medical professionals throughout Broward and Palm Beach counties. Dr. Joseph utilizes various modalities to treat her clients including individual, family and group therapy. In addition, behavioral interventions as well as parent education and training have become a key component of her work with families. Dr. Joseph graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She then went on to earn her doctorate in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Joseph completed her predoctoral internship at The Center for Assessment and Intervention and her postdoctoral fellowship at Nova Southeastern University’s School Psychology Assessment and Consultation Center/The University School. Dr. Joseph looks forward to sharing her passion for serving the needs of children and families touched by Autism Spectrum Disorder through her work at the Slomin Family Center. Vicki S. Katz, CFRE, Director of Development
Vicki S. Katz is proud to use her many years of non-profit and fundraising experience to expand donor support for the Slomin Family Center. Vicki has worked in philanthropy for more than 20 years as a senior development executive, most recently as Director of Development for the Florida Regional Office of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). In that role, she oversaw the organization’s annual campaign and planned giving program. Before joining ADL in June 2008, Vicki served as Director of Development at Florida Atlantic University and as the Development and Planned Giving Director for Jewish Adoption and Foster Care Options (JAFCO). She was instrumental in completing the capital campaign for JAFCO’s six-acre Children’s Village. Vicki holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Nova Southeastern University and a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) certification. She will use her experience and education to help create a mix of annual giving, grants, endowment and donor recognition programs that will enable our Center to succeed and grow. Lori Vogel, Director of Program Services
In her 29 years as a public educator, Lori Vogel has earned a reputation as a strong advocate for special needs children, their families and the educators and support staff who work with them. Most recently, Lori served as Assistant Principal at Crosspointe Elementary School and Eagles Landing Middle School. Before that, she worked with elementary and middle school special needs students in Palm Beach County. For more than nine years, Lori has served as Camp Coordinator for Quality Swimming, Inc. in Boca Raton, hiring and training the swimming staff for day camps such as the special-needs program at the Ross JCC in Boynton Beach and the Levis JCC in Boca Raton. She has taught several classes in the Derech Torah Program for seventh, eighth, and ninth grade students at Boca Raton’s Temple Beth-El. Lori began her career in elementary school special needs classrooms in the New Brunswick, New Jersey public schools. Lori graduated from Indiana University at Bloomington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a concentration in exceptional student education. She completed her Master’s in Education degree in leadership at Florida Atlantic University and has taken several additional masters credits in counseling and social work at both Rutgers and Barry Universities. Lori's education and experience will enable her to develop innovative programs that help the Slomin Family Center serve children and families touched by Autism Spectrum Disorder.
